Can You Sell (transfer) Domains Expiring In A Few Days

I've read once you renew a domain, you can not transfer it for 60 days. So if I have a domains expiring in 10, 5, or even 1 day and I want to sell them without renewing, can I do that.

I mean can I transfer them and the person buying them would then pay the renewal fees?

If these domains are registered with godaddy, would I have to pay anything to transfer them to someone else?

Transfers to another registrar typically take 5-7 days.
If a domain expires in that timeframe, not renewing them can be risky.
If it makes it to the gaining registrar, you pay the renewal fee via the transfer itself.
About GoDaddy....they lock down all transfers, regardless of the age of the domain, for 60 days when any change occurs in the administrative contact (even as small as the email address). If you transfer within GoDaddy, it's considered an account "push". You don't have to pay anything, however the domains don't get renewed; the new owner would have to take care of that. A lot of people, myself included, don't like buying domains that expire in less than 30 days.

You can sell the domain even if it expires in a few days (or even a few hours). The "no transfer for 60 days) generally is if you sell it to someone else THEY cannot transfer or sell it to someone else.

Feel free to sell them, I don't think you have anything to worry about.
