Can you trademark slogans?

Is it possible to trademark slogans. For example, does Nike have a trademark on "just do it". If so, where can I get this and how much does it cost?

See a trademark (IP) attorney. John Berryhill is one.

Cost starts at about $1K and goes up depending upon many factors.

HSBC was being sued by Interbrew, as they claiming that HSBC's new slogan "World's Local Bank" is copied from their "World's Local Brewer".
