Can your name and identity remain private in a UDRP?

I've been reading through some UDRP cases and seems some registrars reveal the name and identity of registrants in a UDRP.

Other great registrars that respect privacy, such as Epik, do not.

So can your name and identity remain anonymous even if you have a UDRP? Is this dependent on registrar policy?

Can you still respond via the registrar and fight to keep the domain name?

At Epik we give you the option of responding as the Anonymous proxy.

It is not the preferred solution but it is possible.

If your domain is on Epik and you get a UDRP, contact us and we'll try to advise

We also have 2 services of note:

1. DNProtect.com -- this basically lets you insure against loss in UDRP.

2. DNAdvocate.com - Legal support for UDRP defense.

Good info to know... not that I need to respond in private anymore. But had I received a UDRP on any of my questionable typos at the time, I would've just deleted them. I think there was one or two that I would've defended through this process though as they could stand as brandables (Like Oogle).

Any legal defense will cost you time and resources. I think it's important to understand that.

Even if you are right you need to think about how much some domains are truly worth.

My premium genetics I'll fight for though to my grave.
