I just read that Live Current sold the domain name Canadian.com for $60k
http://domainnamewire.com/2010/10/06/live-current-sells-canadian-com-for-60000/
What's your opinion about this deal? I thought Live Current doesn't sell their domain names less than 6 figure.Canadian isn't a language and the Canadian population is estimated at 34,019,000

I know there are many Canadian domainers in DNF, would you pay such a high price for Canadian.com?

That bodes well for me as I own Canadians.com so this is good news.

That said, I think the price is reasonable.

Little high for a reseller price, but relatively reasonable yes. Looks like the buyer is not Canadian btw.
www.canada.com is a rather popular site, maybe they plan to build a similar one.

great domain, worth it depending on what the plans are. if they plan on reselling, then i'd say bad investment. canadians.com is better though. the guy who used to own canada.com used to post on a board i visted back in the day. never did find out how much he sold it for though. he just got lucky, was around early and was a nut job or mentally ill person.
