All of these name have regged for more than 60 days, and the .com was transferd to Godaddy in the JUN of this year.

But Godaddy said these names cann't transfer out because the 60 days rule!!!!

I only modified the whois info before I submit the transfer request, did you met the same problem?

Dear Jim,

Thank you for contacting customer support. Changing the name servers and phone number for the domain will not start the 60 days. Changing the name, including just the middle initial, or company in the contact information will start the 60 day period.
Please let us know if we can help you in any other way

when you do whois modifications, it does that icann rule, you should just be able to change the admin contact email and continue on with the transfer since that is the only thing you need to change anyways if it wasn't correct in the first place, modify the rest of the whois info after the transfer takes place

GoDaddy has admitted that certain whois changes that activate another 60 day lock are not imposed by ICANN or the registry, but are instead GoDaddy internal policy only.

Of course put in place to "protect" you the registrant.

IMO that's pure baloney and it's done to keep names in-house at GoDaddy. You know when it's bull when a company (or politician for that matter) says they are taking an action to protect you.

You say "GoDaddy" - I say "NoDaddy".

You might have to take one up as a lesson not to use GD again. They are also known for blocking email addresses from receiving confirmation emails. When I consider purchasing domains from others that are registered with GD, my first question is "would you accept a transfer out?" - if not, I don't buy the domain.

Kind of like that Hotel California song by the Eagles....."You can check out any time you'd like, but you can never leave!"

I just tried to transfer a domain out (unlocked). GD sent me an email stating that I had informed them not to accept the transfer. Posted a support ticket. We shall see.

when you do a transfer away, they offer an accept decline transfer link inside the pending domain transfer screen to help you expedite the transfer
