Nothing like "BAD BUSINESS". There should be a rule against starting an auction without a reserve, and deciding not to sell it because you don't like the price in the end.

mdurrant, you have a right to be concerned, but don't jump to the conclusion that Fleaking is practicing bad business.

Although he definitely should have responded at the end of his 24 hours auction, and he definitely does owe you the domain, there could be MANY circumstances that prevent him from getting online.

Now.... IF he does not show up after a couple more days... then it's time to begin to question his business practices (or his sanity, since doing so would damage his reputation here at DNF)!

Even if his computer CRASHED, there are always ways to get online (library, internet cafe, friends, etc....)

And I agree, IF he flakes out on this, it should be treated harshly! Perhaps to the point of being banned! Reneging on a completed sale would be very bad!

Uh.. Fleaking? I think you are doing a very bad thing here! You placed a domain on the DNF Domains For Sale forum, received bids in good faith from DNF members, and when the auction closed, you had a responibility to sell the domain to the highest bidder!

This is not good business, and has the potential to harm your reputation here at DNF Forum as well as in the community at large!

You should immediately complete the transaction with mdurrant who WON your domain!

I know fleaking was unable to access internet in the past few days due to he was in school dormitory, and he is not in bad faith to play trick or cheat on anyone here(for only $15?), he has a very good credit as we all know.
Though he failed to reply the thread instantly ,I think he should not be blamed on under this situation. And he did not say he will accept highest offers only on this board and there is not a limited time to close the auction, did he? Or I miss something?

DNForum members bid on his domain IN GOOD FAITH! That means they trusted he would sell the domain to whoever posted the highest bid.

However, fleaking told me he has given away the domain to mdurrant for free, I think it should express fleaking's sorry for the hassle.
