Can I get some opinions on the current value and possible future of the .cc's? I haven't really seen any being discussed here in this forum, so maybe I just answered my own question.
Anyway, I bought zipcode.cc today, I figured I might sit on this one for a while because "zipcode" and "zip code " have a ton of monthly keyword searches. Thanks for feedback!

They aren't discussed much here because they are generallyconsidered to be worthless and not worth spending any time on. See the current thread about .WS and just substitute .CC every time you see .WS and it will work just as well.

I am hoping the .cc takes off someday myself! Who cares about cocos Islands. I am looking at it as an unrestricted Tld. Only having to type 2 digits. With all the new Tld's coming out all the time, isn't it easier just to type .cc.....Instead of a Tld like Golf,Money,auto, name...and all the other bullshit scam extensions? Besides I kinda like how easy to remember .cc is! "Believe me" ...It will become of age, but when we don't know!
I would like to have a new meaning for .cc...I propose it represent " Core Customer " or something like that. Whoever thought up cocos Island and then made it a Tld, is a moron!!! I have a few .cc, like "eBet.cc Optic.cc and Lot.cc

.cc could mean Credit card.

I got caught up inthe .cc hype. I regeistereed 7 CC at $100/each 2 years ago. **ouch**

there was one .cc i consider valuable closedcaptioned.cc because all movies have the cc logo on them. i believe buydomains owns it though. they own either that or cloedcaptioning.cc

I would take the value of the corresponding .com and divide by 100 - 200 for a ballpark figure.

So if the .com is worth say $5000 the .cc is worth $25 - $50 less than reg fee or "worth less"

but if the .com is worth say $1,000,000 then the .cc is worth $5,000 - $10,000 and that is not "worth less"

Just my 2 cents worth
