Certified Offer from Network Solutions

Hi there

I'm just wondering if anyone's had any experience of Network Solutions' certified offer. It seems the buyer pays all the fees and Network Solutions then send you a cheque. I emailed them to find out more about the service and it says the cheque can take up to 3-4 weeks to come through after the domain has been transferred which sounds a bit crap!

Also what do you guys recommend as an escrow service for UK domainers?

Hi Francis,
i only hear bad things about netsol tbh. If it's a small sale & you trust the buyer, then paypal.
Otherwise you can go through sedo. If you get the bid with them it's 10%, but if you find them & want them to conduct escrow etc it's 3% i think.
Failing that if they trust you, they can bankwire the money & you just tie it up yourself.

I understand that you really will get the cheque BUT yes it takes ages to arrive from Network Solutions. I guess they like to earn a little interest.
