I have the chance to aquire a few very heavily trademarked domains at a very good cost. I say heavily trademarked because they are clearly and obviously cases of cybersquatting. There's no way that I could use these domains in good faith.

Any suggestions?

Can I use the domains and then just give them back if ever approached by the trademark owner or should I just avoid them? i.e. I've read on a few TM violation sites a quick message to the effect of

"We are not intentionally violating any trademarks and this domain was aquired via automated software. If you feel this is a violation of your trademark please contact us and if appropriate transfer the domain to you without charge".

i agree that you should stay away from heavily TMed names, its just not worth the risk.

on an unrelated note, i will say that i think its a poor idea to have a disclaimer promising the domain to the TM holders, cuz then you will be harassed by all sorts of people with false claims on domains.

If they are cheap and you are tempted, careful of the owner(s).
