I just wanted to know if anyone knows their patterns well ... that's if they have any.

If they let one of their names get very close to expiration (the one I am watching will expire in under a week), does that mean they are likely not to renew it? Or do they auto-renew at the last minute.

Just wondering if anyone would know before I waste a snap on it.

They do drop some.

See the other thread about their drops.

IMHO they wouldn't let a $200+ domain go.

I guess I have posted this before, but they just let urbandirectory.com drop last month and picked up yorkregion.net around the same time!? Definitely something wrong I'd say; they haven't been like that before.

But do they get any traffic? If not then You know why they are dropping! No traffic no value to them.

awesome, the domain I'm watching probably a $200 name or so, but it's very applicable to what I need, so I'm going to snap it.

Thanks for the help, I have a feeling they will let it go, maybe they've milked all the traffic out of it and are just throwing away the carcas.

Ultimate Search, Inc. renewed <UltimateSearch.Com> almost a week after it expired :D

NO BIG DEAL!

Do a linkpop check for these two domains and you will find out the reason:D

EXACTLY! I guess one of their problems is perhaps the automation of a drop/selection process that actually overlooks this: choosing yorkregion.net over urbandirectory.com solely or mostly based on numbers. An alternative explanation could be that this decision-making has been delegated to a lesser brain than the original Yun Ye, a classic error of growing pain.

the main source of ULT/USINC's profit is traditionally PPC instead of the reselling market...

I know this is an old thread, but for closure I'd like to add that they did in fact re-reg the name I was looking at.

Lesson learned.

Then it gets traffic.

I think They let drop many 2 char. -net names few days back:
0b.net
0c.net
0j.net
0p.net
0q.net
0t.net
0u.net
0y.net
7y.net

No traffic then.

They let livefemale.com and livefemales.com drop yesterday. (CatchyDomains got "females." Don't know who got "female.")

I've got a snap on a very nice, short, 2 word dashless, 'i'less, and 'e'less .COM domain that they let expire early this month. It is in the redemption period now. Don't know if I'll get it or if they'll notice, but we'll see!

Why? Was it accident that they are dropping? I don`t think so!
