Nice nice name and the .net appropriate IMO.

Even though I don't see t0o many checkcards around any more (cards shown to verify checkwriting at cash register) I do see lots of debit cards which are check cards in a way.

$650-$1,000

reg fee is what I see...

I used to be a gold recycler. I go every where that I might find scrap gold. Electronic companies, gold plating places, dentist, industry junkyards etc.

I never find a good deal among gold dealers. They know how much it is worth no matter what kind of gold scrap they have.

I believe buying dropped domain is not the best choice for a domain hunter, I also believe pay above the reg for a domain is not wise unless you know for sure that it is a good deal.

Look around, check around, see any good domain sales? Time to wake up, the gold rush is long gone!

You may make some money on the net by hard work and good knowledge, you sure enough may not make any money by resale domains!

Spend $20,000 for a good domain and sit back for the juice? Looks like a mirage to me, who will sale gold for silver price? I even bought 5 times fake gold from Vegas trips, there are a lot of golden color stuff you have to test it by chemical to tell if it's real gold. Even DK bought some fake typein stats domains, who do you think you are.

My advice, we are trash pickers, I rather pick trash at LA not a small town. I now goto alexa check top 500 sites, typein every domain to see if I can find a .net or .org is still left.

I don't give it high hope, just do my job, keep searching chunk gold that was left behind for no matter what reasons, if I luckily find one, I will pick it up and enjoy it. If none, I worked hard, should sleep well.

Then I will try the best domain I have, develop it and see if there is any profit or happiness.

I lost a loved one 10 months ago, I still feel the pain some times. I think often, if this is the last day of my life, how am I going to precious every second of it. I never will know if this IS the last day, but I want to live as it is, burn like a candle in the wind...

Even I do believe that life is infinity, once we lived how can we really die. But every day on this Earth might be just my last chance to worship the sun and smile to flowers....

Believe me or not, I love you all.....

A lot of banks still promote with the term "checkcard". I like it. I would think $5k to a bank. $500 - $100 otherwise.

well, net domains are rather hard to sell! But I am sure you will get a buyer for this one

btw, I see that com/org is already registered

My bank debit card says "Check Card" in prominent letters up at the top, so I think the domain is a very nice one.

thanks for all the feedback. I think the best thing to do would be for me to sell it to a bank since i can't think of a way to monetize it on my own. So how would i go about it? just email and call bank executives at random? I actually think many banks are looking for this type of domain but don't know that it exists. I got it off the drops and all the other extensions were regged (including .biz .us etc) so that was an indicator to me that it might have some value
