I was chasing a name through snapnames, godaddy and namewinner. Today snapnames got it for me. :-D

I was surprised to see an email from godaddy saying that they were sorry that they were unable to get the name for me. At the end of email they again said sorry. Amazing . Customer service and grace is alive even in domain snap service. I like it. Cheers for GoDaddy.com . :)

I hope others in the business should atleast tell the customer that they could not grab the name.

Dude, it was an automated email. Dont think they sat there fumbling, consciously feeling guilty you didnt get it.

Atleast they let you know that they could not get your name so that you can use the snap to chase another name. All other registrar just keep quiet. What is better ?

I agree with URLTrader. Better to let you know you weren't successful and move on than wonder whether they were even monitoring the situation. Yes they failed, but at least they monitored it to know that.

Yes, it's automated, but at least someone thought of automating it.

But sometimes they're overacting.

They have caught a name for me.

And keep emailing me about the 'Sorry' email. :D

I never thought of getting serious offer while there're many 'big grin' smily everywhere.

If you want to get one, you can buy from Domainut for $10.
Just visit www.domainut.com and buy FREE url forwarding and then PM Domainut your username, then you will have discounted price.

Try to pm domainut. Not sure if the offer still valid.
