Chinese Domains

I have a question , Is there a specific need or eligibility to register an .cn domain ?

.ca has few restrictions like there should be an canadian presence . So how about the chinese domain registrations ? when i try to register it shows there is an restriction but doesnt ask any validation to register simply goes to cart page .

don't think there are restrictions, but if so, some registrars can act as proxy
