Wondering if it is considered acceptable to post a reply to your own thread stating a price reduction / other significant modification to the original post? Seems like a grey area, as it's not really a bump, more like modifying a thread as opposed to starting a new one with lower prices/etc. Or did I overlook one of the rules/faqs somewhere on this?

Now the suggestion / thought: If possible, have a users subscribed threads show as updated when a person modifies their original post, instead of only when there is a reply, thereby eliminating the need to make a post stating the price reduction/whatever..

1. I Guess we have it pretty clear in the forum rules that you can do that ONLY if the reduction is 10% or more.

2. No, that is not an inbuilt vBulletin Feature.

I have made a note of the suggestion. We have a lot going on right now, but perhaps one day we'll be able to create the system to notify those that are subscribed when a post is merely edited. Kind regards
