It is a decent name, but it is almost impossible to put a price on it. If your buyer was legit then maybe that is your price. I am sure with the inquiries you have had that you can get a sense of what the ballpark range is. Whatever responses you get here will be all over the map, I am sure. With a name like this I would only trust an appraisal where someone was willing to back up their appraisal with real money and buy it themselves.
I can say the name is worth mid XXX and you will tell me immediately that you have had offers higher than that. You won't get a lot if you run it through a thread here, but whatever you would get here would certainly be a lot less than your "close call" sale that fell through, and probably less than those who have inquired by email.
Another thing to remember is that values can change. Most people take their previous highest offer on a name and set that as the minimum that the name can possibly be worth. That is the wrong approach because all asset values in the world change prices, and sometimes quite rapidly. I am not so sure that anyone really needs to have Classless.com, though it obviously has potential for a fortunate sale if the stars align.
Mid XXX for me.
