Naturally I have a pretty good idea what I want for this name.

Would like to get that second and third opinion for all you "seasoned domineers" since the inquiries are coming in pretty frequently lately.

This is not worth much here.. I work in the Cloud Computing Sales field now. Nothing is called Coud Streams.

Alternatively, its a CDN which is a Content Delivery Network. Usually cloud companies offer this service, but its never called Cloud streaming.

The broad search for this word monthly is 1K on google, and ZERO for an Exact match search.

If you get any buy enquiries, definitely sell it to the first interested one.

Good Luck

These are the only 2 pages on google that appear with this word : Cloud Streams!
This might have been a speculation by Gartner (only their blog) back in 2010. This was just a speculation by the blogger. Its not there anywhere today. Not a single cloud provider uses anything called cloud streams. If you scroll down, not a single KNOWN cloud provider is in the search result. Additionally, this is only word related to cloud that I've seen for the past 2 years without ADS!!!!
Even a cached version of your website is in the top 10, though the website has no cached content in google, just the domain match get it a top 10. Sorry, but i insist a 100%, ZERO value.

Look, I tried to help you here. Maybe you had some hopes for the domain, and I wanted you to be realistic. Dont like my appraisal, you are a 100% free to discard it.

I am pretty sure nothing is called "Coud Streams," because "Coud" is not even a word. By the way, did you try checking "Stream Cloud," 5,400 exact searches? Ohhhh.......... How about thinking that "Cloud Streams" could mean video streaming, etc, etc, etc.. to the cloud.... Stop thinking like a domainer....

Anyhow, good name, easy high $x,xxx and possibly low $xx,xxx, who knows, I like it though.....

Nothing is called cloudstreams except the 65,900 item returned for cloudstreams (no hyphen, no space) on google.

I'm okay turning down all the lowball ( that being xxxx to low xxxxx ) offers.

I hand regged this name in 2008. There has always been interest in this name and over the years I have received numerous offers. Naturally, they are offers from either other domainer or small start ups to larger more established companies.

The most recent offer was for $4K. I say most recent since this came in after another offer of $6K within the same week. Of all the offers I can recall, the most recent was from an identifiable end-user.

Most of these offers are coming from businesses that offer cloud streaming services. The most recent is from a company that not only offers cloud services but calls their services cloud streams (no, they do not own a TM for this).

I did have a site up but took it down after I had issues with the hosting company (host clear billed my credit card an outrageous amount for renewal, without authorization) and that site did make very good $ while up. Now that Amazon is back into my arena, I'll reconsider a site.

As I mentioned, I am okay holding onto this name.

That's bizarre. I personally find the name a bit awkward. However, you have been receiving some pretty solid opening offers.. I would negotiate and sell for $XX,XXX. Not too bad for a hand reg! :D

There are plenty of firms out there calling their services cloudstreams (or cloud streams) to let their clients know they have offerings of their cloud services

Tech names you usually have to sit on a while before the times catch up with service/technology.

This won't be the first time I hand regged a name, had to sit on it a few years, and sold for 5 digits once the product/service/tech was mainstream.

Gerry, perhaps I am ever the optimist, but I think the names you have are pretty good, though perhaps a bit ahead of their time. My thinking is that the Cloudstreams name would be an excellent brand from a company wishing to push Internet video from a "cloud" based environment and CloudStreaming makes for a descriptive name for that sort of service. While I don't care much for the "cloud" concept because of the various ways people interpret and define it, the reality is that "cloud" has found itself well embedded in the Internet lexicon and at least for now seems not to be going away. If you are not into flipping names, you might consider a lease arrangement with a prospective purchaser. For most buyers, the number is not going to be all that high, as most would be domain speculators I would think. But, for the right buyer, the number could be quite high, but expect to sign a non-disclosure for those kinds of sales.
