Hi everyone,

I just bought a few domains through ClubDrop and was trying
to update the nameservers on my domains. However I get the
following error message:

>There were errors getting the DNS list: Cannot get list of existing nameservers

Their FAQ suggests the following:

>When I try to change my name servers, there is an error, why is this?
>The name of the name servers might not be registered at the registry.

I want to use my own nameservers. They are registered with the registrar
where the nameserver domain is registered. I never had a problem with
it at other registrars.

Has anyone had a similar problem and knows what to do? Any ideas?

I am asking this here in the forum because the ClubDrop support is pathetic.
I haven't yet received any answer at all to my support requests...

Thanks,

Marco

problem still arises regularly until today. i have to manually check every domain and about 20% of the names resolved to enom parking page even though it shows eNom DNS with the A record to my server's IP.

traffic hijacking from customer?

I am trying to transfer all of my names to Moniker, and my enom clubdroop names are giving me problems. They cant access the dns to make changes on clubdop names.

This was their response....

"We are currently experiencing registry connectivity issues for domains acquired through eNom's Club Drop program. This is causing problems updating DNS and updating registrar lock status for Club Drop acquired domains"

So a warning to those buyers/sellers of clubdrop aquired domains... I would not attempt a sale while this condition exists!

This has been going on for at least a week. Anyone else having this problem?

Enom is having MAJOR problems with their club drop affiliates. If you have
a club drop domain and it was grabbed by one of their affiliate registrars
the chances are 90% that you will not be able to change DNS, Modify the record
or transfer the domain name.

I have been having problems with Enom now for about a month. They keep telling
me that they found the problem and have fixed it only to have the problem reappear.
I am getting sick of the same old excuses from Enom

Prior to a month ago Enom was the BEST registrar out there now I would
not recommend them at any price

well, they resolved my problem. I was able to take the locks off and transfer out. Clubdrop is still good... It seems that Pool has fallen off as of late (not getting any drops there..) so, who do you go to for drops without enom...

This has been an eNom bug for years -- I've filed many reports with examples of the problem and they simply refuse to fix it.

I have to say that I thought enom was good too but recently they hit my debit card 11 times with preauthorizations. Maybe my error but I did nothing to change the details of the card and it works everywhere else. Finally I had to change the card and the billing went through.

The phone and email support was fairly rude and not helpful. Something seems wrong at enom.
