I'd argue that CNET has the most valuable domain portfolio in the world. I wonder if anyone has a complete list, or can add to this thread with domains they know about.

here are some that i know:

search.com
labs.com
online.com
mp3.com (recent purchase)
news.com
com.com
radio.com
download.com
builder.com
shopper.com

What did they pay for mp3.com? Anyone know?

I never rated the mp3.com site. Great domain obviously, but their musical choice wasn't the greatest.

trouver.com (French for "to find")

They should come take commande.com (French for "to order") off me ;)

tv.com
chat.com
news.com
radio.com

would have cost them an obscene amount of money had they brought them today.

Lets hope CNet forgets to renew a couple ;)

Some CNET names and purchase prices.

SEARCH.COM - $7,000
DOWNLOAD.COM - $20,000
TV.COM - $15,000
AUCTIONS.COM - 1,500,000(?) ( from a conversation with another participating private bidder )

Pays to get in early, huh? :cheeky:

I would argue that Easylink have #1-#5 slot for the best.

How about just tv? Not sure how valuable it is because most people would be confused by it, but it is cool.
