I think I'm going to make a college forum with this. Being as how valuable the 18-24 market is to advertising how much do you think a forum site like this would appraise for with established traffic (over 1000 members)?

Also, does anyone know what kind of advertising rates would be charged for banner ads for an established forum like this?

Are you saying you have an established membership of 1000 you are carrying over from another site?

No I haven't started the forum yet. I was just asking for website and advertising appraisals when I get membership above those levels.

Anyone have any numbers?

Why would you set up a forum? Set up a porn site or join the collegef*ckfest.com affiliate program and promote the hell out of it.

Definitely an adult site, for a dorm cam.

If you decide to sell collegeroom as a forum, the most you will get is stale piza and a six pack.

Well, I decided to make this a Forum. Please check it out and let me know it there is any way I could have actually decreased the value of this name. I just put it up today and am still working on it, but if there are any suggestions I'm open.

My plan is to get a good board started and some good 18-24 demographic traffic then slowly put banners for other sites I am working on that can actually make money.
