セール.com - SALE
It's Japanese for Sale.com Pronounciation is also Sale.
This term means sale as in price discounted. (Sale could also mean "on sale", "selling now", etc.). Immediately people see it & know a sale is going on... (just need to clarify this)
Do note that it looks like a hyphen but it's actually a Japanese character & part of the word. Without it, it wouldn't be the same term...
Stats by Just overture is a little deceptive because the term peaks at different times during the year
You can see it on Google Trends (Not every Japanese term shows up on Google trends by the way)
