After a complete face lift, creation of brand-new content and an enhanced range of product offerings I have just re-launched copy-games.com and am now considering offers for the site.
I acquired the domain name and site as a one page game copying ebook site back in October of last year. The site was getting around 100 unique visitors / day and was making $400-500 / month. At its peak it was making $600-700 / month prior to my acquiring it. Of course, just my luck, the site's SE placement started plummeting and the traffic died off. Nonetheless, it still made $50-100 / month from traffic via the various links to the site.
I have spent the last 2-3 months on a brand new look-and-feel to the site, offering products via affiliate links for copying PS2, XBox, PSX and PC games - over a dozen products are featured in total. In addition, there are pages and information on mod chips, console skins, label makers, blank media and various other accessories associated with game copying and backups. I have affiliate links set up for all of these products too. The original ebook is still available from the site.
I relaunched the site just last week, and traffic is already picking up. The new site is already at #2 at MSN for "copy ps2 games" and in the top 20 for copying xbox games. It is only a matter of time that the new site is picked up at Google, Yahoo and elsewhere.
Of course, at this stage, we are talking about potential, and potential only. However, as traffic and SE position improves, and revenue starts coming in again, my asking price will increase accordingly - NOW is the time to seize the chance to buy a fantastic domain and content.
All of the affiliate program accounts [some 20+] are standalone, used only for this site, as are the PayPal and Clickbank accounts associated with the site. In other words, this is a turnkey web site, with a minimum of work to do to transfer it over to a new owner.
Based on prior history with the old version of the site, the rapidly improving SE rankings and the number of links now pointing to the site, I anticipate the profits from the site to reach a healthy low $X,XXX within a month or two. At that time, I will be looking for offers of low $XX,XXX for the site, once the new entity has a track record and I can show cold hard stats for traffic, and profits.
However, at this time, I have no such stats or reports to show you. Take a look at the site itself, to see what is on offer here. Included are additional domain names such as copyps2.com, copy-master-pro.com [plus site and rights to the ebook] and others.
I will consider offers of mid-high $X,XXX for the entire copy-games.com site for the next week or so only. After that, I'm taking it off the market and will re-offer the site once it is further established. Clearly, I would be better off waiting a month or two before selling, but I am looking to liquidate as many assets as possible, right now, to fund a new offline business venture that I want to get in to.
Please PM any offers or any questions that are not answered above. Act quickly!
Thanks for your time!
