"Duh....who you're educating Cool....is this Domains101 class?"
Apparently. But YOU still haven't caught on though ... .INFO and .US are very new, and uproven extensions. Until I begin to see a lot of evidence pointing to the contrary, .COM does still rule! Lesson #2 for the Day for Desi. Good Luck.
I did catch on a long time ago Cool....Learned the hard way that .com is not a panacea. From a re-seller/speculator's standpoint it "rules" ONLY if you have a truly strong keyword name since otherwise hardly any interested party will be foolish enough to pay you a handsome amount rather come up with their own version of suitable/acceptable word combo. Just look around here on the forum, especially in the "Wanted" section...how desparate people are to sell their .coms; look at the junk people are gathering from "drops"....what have they learned? If you live in any US metro area just look around and you'd find out what lengths small/medium-sized businesses have gone to come up with their online identity; more then 20-30 charachters with hyphens & numbers. Why? Because for most of them it simply does not make sense to pay hefty premium on a mediocre .com; they better create their own. Now real viable alternatives have arrived. It does take some time for things to catch on. And, yes there's always a "possibility" that any new venture will fail. But, in the long run, why would ALL interested businesses/entities insist on sticking with something like "The-Best-Cheap-Roofer.com" rather than Roofer.biz or Roofing.biz or even FloridaRoofing.biz (if its in Florida), etc. especially if they can get it regged themselves or get it in the aftermarket for a few hundred $$ (rather than a few/several thousand $$ for an identicle .com). I see you keep on insisting for, and probably waiting for, "evidence" for ne tlds to catch on....the short answer is that its already emerging for .INFO followed by .BIZ; .US is just too new. Now, if you're just an interested observer/critic then wait on, but most others here are speculators/investors and for them its probably already too late with the possible exception of .US. If you don't agree with my assertion then accept my challenge and go ahead and get a truly good name regged in .INFO or .BIZ. If the community here agrees by consesus that the name is truly good I'd give you all of my DNF $$ (not many) or buy the name from you at three times the reg cost...Deal?

Deal!
And, I must say ... I enjoyed reading your post. Thanks for being a good sport, and we do have a deal. I'll keep you posted! Stay tuned. Thanks.
PS. Not to create problems, but by offering your bucks, or three times my registration costs, are you inadvertently reinforcing my original point (on resale valuations of such domains)?
Thanks for the feedback. However, there are a few problems with the singular forms (i.e. conduit.us and accelerator.us).
First, they've already been taken by someone else. Secondly, the singular forms are subject to Trademarking issues. If you run a search at www.uspto.gov, you'll see that conduit and accelerator have been trademarked several times.
Since the plural forms of conduits.us and accelerators.us that I have don't have any TM issues, then I think that these plural forms are the most valuable.
