I recently learned about just what .tel is.
All this time I thought it was another silly non-.com extension trying to trigger a false gold rush.
Now that I noticed it has an actual utilitarian purpose, I have actually considered using it, and wanted some domainers' thoughts on it.
I am just a few steps away from being a Realtor, and feel as though I could benefit from owning a .tel, being a virtual business card.
What I am hesitant about, is whether or not people will immediately connect with the whole .tel concept. That said, I have considered setting up a .com domain to redirect to my .tel, have that .tel act as my main site, and let the "webpages" section link to my blogs, main site, etc.
Anybody have thoughts on the redirect? Any positive stories about .tel? Negative ones?
