copy of a .net domain with 3k visitors every day

i bought a domain .com which is the same as .org

and i get a 3k visitors everyday who forget to type .org!

and i have already forward the .com to the .org

so whats the suggestions to make best $$$ with it?

1) Do you own the .org also?
2) If not, is the .org a TM word or phrase?
3) The subject mentions "copy of a .net" - does this mean that the .net is not yours?

That all depends on what the people are looking for but you also need to tread carefully. Do the owners of the .org own the trademark on the domain? If they do, then they can go after you with a WIPO case (which you do not want and panelists tend to frown upon parking sites).

The .com will traditionally get more traffic, though since most people type .com instead of .org

If you optomize the page right then you might get some clicks a day but remember, be very careful if the domain is a trademark.

Park it at Sedo and see what happens. Sometimes in a situation like this, conversion can be a problem as the people realize their mistake and just go to the .org. SOme may click on something though.

As to the offer, you may want to negotiate. I am not sure what the depth of interest in this name would be. $1,500 offers really aren't that shabby but you need to do your research (ie - park it and get some numbers). Very few names actually sell for the XX,XXX and more that you hear bragged about here and this doesn't sound like one of them to me unless it makes a lot of PPC income.

You need to pick good keywords and layout to get higher CTR so try atleast few different options to see what earns most.

You can get 15-20 € (23-30$) /day with adult (porn) traffic (3000 uniques). With mainstream You'll get few times more for each click.

Don't know what kind of traffic it is but be sure to match original sites content and take most significant keyword. For example one domain parked for keyword "trade" makes me 25-40 € per 1000 visitors (with 3k uniques it's 75-120 € (110-180$)).
