That would be counsel. Councel is not in my dictionary and I have never heard of it.

"councel.net ... Registered it few days ago, worth anything?"

I'm aware of "counsel" (advise) and "council" (legislative body), but I don't know of any COUNCEL!!?? I'm not looking in my dictionary, but I feel 100% correct. Were you looking for typo traffic? Low value. Good Luck!

I would say an error in your dictionary. Most of the Google pages are foreign languages or mis-spellings - it will say councel in the page title but when you click on it it is spelled correctly as council on the page. A lot of sloppy amateur webmasters out there!

I've got a feeling that councel may have been an early form. I can't find my Chaucer to check it I'm afraid. Certainly it hasn't been used in the 20th century, we now use the 2 forms mentioned earlier.

STUFF:

My research on Councel.Net was consistent with the Duke’s. The top councel hits go to Quran passages. For 95% of the other links that I checked, the title page misspelled it councel, but the related site text spelled it counsel. There were just a few sites that misspelled it everywhere based on what they were trying to say.

Good luck
