I was told WIPO doesn't work if you previously own the name and let it expire.

No, that is not true because there have been specific instances where it has.

The real criteria is whether the domain is registered in bad faith or not.

But if you go to WIPO expect the unexpected as it is difficult to see any clear parttern in the outcomes!

They (the council) seem to have the name back now. Does anyone have a nice word to say about Easyspace? I still get sales calls from them asking if I want to renew a name that I long since transfered away (thank god).
