Hello,


Is it legal to own a country domain name by individuals ?

I own a shortcut of my country name in .com

Its LLL.com


Please need help

There are no rules that say you cannot. Now, if you owned that same "shortcut" in .kw that'd be a different story.

Short answer: yes you can.
But in many extensions including .info country names are protected (reserved).

Have a look at the case of newzealand.com for example: http://www.wipo.int/amc/en/domains/decisions/html/2002/d2002-0754.html
It's official, the Queen of England is a reverse hijacker :D

Now if you own a valuable domain, it will likely be coveted by other people so the likelihood of a reverse hijacking attempt against it are higher. A LLL.com is clearly a valuable domain ;)
