I don't think curious is sexual enough for a good adult name...but that's just MHO.

No,

Nothing in that word directs to porn or kids.

The name has Teen in it.

Correct me if I am wrong, But teen is classified as,

18 and 19 as well....

CuriousTeen could be used for teens who are curious about life, money, drugs, sex, marriage, kids, birth control, sex toys, Moving out on there own,

I mean the list can go on and on.. The name does not indicate to porn or sex...

Could be used for overage, younger looking males or female adult shows or pics...

thanks

Not kiddie if Teen means 18-19.

I think its an interesting name and no one could honestly say it would get no traffic. If developed and submitted to the search engines I dont see any reasons why it wouldnt get visitors.

Curious, like first timers or trying different things, kinky, same sex stuff ( Lesbians :) )

curious AND teen together spells a very young teen, not 18 or 19, and sounds like porn... I would not do anything with this... I would drop it quick.

It can even be turned into a curious teen magazine...:D

Or Enzine......!!!!!!

The enzine or magazine can describe all things teens are curious about..

Sex,
Female parts
male parts
drugs
parents
economy

What is curious george... He must be curious about sex!!!!

I am just pointing this out, When I bought the name I never thought of teen porn.. We can see where are minds are at

thanks

I wouldn't create an ezine for teens about drugs and sex, unless you want to get arrested lol

Actually you can creat a enzine about drugs and sex if you are not promtoing it.

In the ezine you can state the side affects of drugs, The stats about sex.

What not to do.. How to say NO....

When it is time.. Learn about changes on your body.

I mean there are leagal ways of teaching about sex and drugs.

A Information enzine.

Thanks

So doberry, does that mean the domains,

creativekid.com ( would this be sexual? )
actionkid.com ( how bout this? )
activechildren.com ( ooo wait ACTIVE kids...that has to be porn )
youandyourchildren.com ( does this infer incest? )
teengirlsclothing.com ( does this infer used teen panties? )

Are sexual in nature?

The problem lies not in curiousteens.com which has numerous uses ( nice name btw ) but in the mind of the person that is interpreting it it in the sexual manner.

Sure it could be sexual...if YOU think of it that way AND IF the content was such. The words by defination do not imply sexuality...

DO NOT drop this domain. There is no risk whatsoever. Now if it was the domain that ( I forgot the persons name ) has Hairlesslolita.com, then there would be cause for concern. ( big concern )

Please explain why is it that a curiousteen.com would ONLY be thought of sexually, and why if thought of sexually that you would think of underaged teens as opposed to 17 18 19?

I was responding to the 2 previous posts above mine...that were talking about this as an adult site name. Like I said, if you use as an adult name, it souds bad.

If you can develop as a site for teens questions about life, that is good.

DoBerry, I was responding to your post above:

How did I misinterpret your words?
"curious AND teen together spells a very young teen, not 18 or 19, and sounds like porn... I would not do anything with this... I would drop it quick."

This is a blanket statement, as a lawyer you should know this. What you say here does not imply any "if", it blantently says curious and teen together sounds like porn, and implies child porn at that. Then you proceed to strongly recommend dropping the name. I seen nothing in this post that would imply what you last post said...that we misunderstood your post. We read your post just as you wrote it.

I would hope you write your legal briefs a bit more carefully than this. If what you wrote is not what you meant...then your clients will be losing lots of cases. You might want to proof read before you hit submit. : )

I have no reason to doubt your good intent in your posts...just word them correctly so we understand that intent. We aren't mind readers ... ( well most of us aren't )
