Here's a new article that covers the arbitration process very well.

Many interesting issues are included.

ex. "Typically, UDRP proceedings involving a single domain name and cost about $1,000 in administrative fees to resolve. Legal fees are, in the main, limited to those required to prepare and submit a complaint or response. Submissions are made via e-mail and the process is designed to take about two months. "

Here's the complete article from Law.com: http://www.law.com/jsp/printerfriendly.jsp?c=LawArticle&t=PrinterFriendlyArticle&cid=1036630513981

This article is really old news. Anyone following domain name disputes since early 2000 already knew this.

Well, DD, guess you can't please everyone.

pljones,

One of the very fine points of this forum is that it helps many domainers with varying degrees of experience. They many posts requesting UDRP info shows how useful some might find this link

Nothing wrong with highlighting old news once in a while. I mean, .com is old news, but people still talk about it like it is the next best thing to sliced bread.
