Hi everyone,

I'm currently conducting research into this area which will form part of my final University degree classification later this year, so I was wondering if you could spend 5 minutes of your time to take part in this survey, aswell as offering any of your own personal insight into this area in the thread.

Everyone knows cybersquatting is still a big problem in the industry and as part of my research, I intend to find out what we all think of this. I also hope to gather views on Reverse Domain Hijacking and the introduction of the new gTLDs later this year.

Anyone who reads Rick Schwartz's blog will realise how Reverse Domain Hijacking is becoming a problem in our industry. But is it a problem that affects us all? Have you had your domains unfairly taken for supposed breach of trademark? I'd love to hear your opinions :tu:

I've already had Rick Schwartz's response to the survey, aswell as a few other industry big-hitters.
Ill try and get the results published in DNJournal when I've finished.

Here's a link to the survey

Hopefully this can generate a good discussion

Thanks all!
Kev

Here's a suggestion: poll non-domainers.

Agreed or your research paper will be too bias. Simplify the questions and poll 10 domainers and 10 business owners with crappy domains. You will have a better consensus on the view of cybersquatting.
