Dashed .com product domains

Hi all,

Just want some advice here. MOST of my portfolio is decent .com product names with a dash in between the keywords. Some low comp, a lot of med. competition and some high competition. I know how that works with the competition as far as ranking them in the search engines, the higher comp ones will take much more work.

I have read over and over again that they still rank almost just as good as the non dashed counterparts. Im just looking for advice on kickstarting them up since Im going to try my hand at development and outsource the seo a bit.

What are your personal experiences with dash .com product names? I also have an adsense account, clickbank account, and soon an EPN and PHPbay account. Any advice or experience using any of these?

Its so retarded, like this is a valid question. I mean wtf. But if I post something stupid, watch how many people will flock to it. Says a lot about the masses. Watch though, someone will come on here and make some wise @ss comment like stop crying, blah blah blah.

Mods, close this thread please. Obviously good domaining questions that are valid and could educate domainers are boring and useless here.
Maybe Ill post this on domainquestions.com. Legit questions usually get answered there.

The only traffic source you can anticipate is search engine traffic. Just get a few links coming in and using Adsense you shouild be set.

Agreed, no type in traffic with a dash. Suggestions on how to build GOOD incoming links?

build a good, useful, informative or creative site and people will link to you naturally

put links in your signature on forums etc. is a start to get a few backlinks. but real ones from relevant sites and articles are the best
