Developing another extension

i bought a domain a few months back, and for the past month i have decided to develop it, i have been working hard, but i have found out the person who sold the domain to me, he is planning on developing the same name .info. Do i have anything to worry about, losing traffic, SE rankings etc?

what do you mean the same .info.. how similar are they?

Sorry, i posted that in a rush, i got the .com EXT, he has the .info EXT of same name

ahhhh.. Nothing then.. .com is the King.. even if he promotes it to interested people, they will also type in the .com version of it, to see what you have.

All you have to look out for is the copying of the content and design.. things like that.
