I forgot that I own
DELEGATED.com

Worth mud? Probably not if I sell it to any one, I guess.
I need to start tracking my names better :D

EDIT: The name itself is bad. But what if I tied it with a name like Delegated Technologies? It would be a web design/development firm.

DelegatedTechnologies.com is too long, so then Delegated.com would make sense, no?

Is it a good name for a web design company?
-Delegated Technologies
-Delegated Development
-and so on :)

It sort of reminds me of http://www.outsourceit.com/ (the outsourced/delegated way of doing things)

I like the name, but I need objective opinions.

I can't trust myself to be objective about names I like.

I don't think it's a good name for a Web Design Co. , but thats just me.

Exactly why I'm asking for peoples' opinions. I don't want to blind myself into having a horrible dn. :)

Though I should have made this a poll...

Not a bad name but I can't see it being used
in software or web site development.

:) :)

Overall, I like it. It is good when you tie it in with a name like Delegated Technologies. A lot of web design and development services are delegated to outside firms, so it makes sense.

The only drawback I see is it is a little hard to type, and with the soft 'e', it may be prone to spelling errors -- ie: delagated, deligated

Yes, I meant as a tie-in with a name like Delegated Technologies. So basically, I should change the question. :)

A big minus for the name is the bad connotations:

dele means remove/delete

gated makes people think of either closed, shut down, or secure

Heres the breakdown.

1. One word dot-com (+)
2. Awkward word (-)
3. Past tense (-)

More negs than pos make this more toward the lower end of the spectrum for one worders.

It's certainly not worthless but i don't see it as very valuable. 'Delegated' has so many different ways it could be used that it can cause confusion - i like domains that make it obvious what kind of site you are going too.

It is a cool name, but not sure of the uses for it.

I would try to get $500 for it, unless you can think of a good use for it, or find a company with "delegated" in their name.

I'm sure it means that a given venture, in the aspect of technology. will be delegated in the proper manner to a qualified person or group that is "highly touted'. Thus, assuring the client.
