Mark,

I've done business with many people on this board however we have stict privacy rules and I doubt any of them want to talk about borrowing.

I think you can and will find people that can attest to my integrity. Let me know if you want to have a private chat.

thanks for your response rick and welcome to the forum! i was just curious as i had never heard of anyone loaning money on a domain and was wondering at the time i posed the question if it was a new concept in the domain industry or just another way of advertising cash advance services which of course are very common (i own one cash advance domain listed at sedo) and very competitive nowadays. your email indicated that you also buy domains which of course is of much more interest to myself and others here.

I believe I am first to market with the concept of "pawning" domains.

interesting indeed. Rick, you may be the first one based in the US - there was a news story a couple of years ago on a bank in Korea that loaned money against domain names.

Bashar,

I wonder if he annoyed A.D. for some reason?

Because, I don't see anything in any of his 7 postings that would
make him be banned that quickly.

Perhaps the mods thought he was using people's email addresses here to spam people. I did not think that this was a terminatable action (just warning points). I have received a bunch of spam from him, but he always made it clear that he got my email via whois by looking up what names were listed on GreatDomains.

For curiosity sake, I too would like an explanation as to why he was terminated.

Glad to hear that.
That makes a few people emailed him wondering why.

Off Topic remark following:

I would hesitate to assume anything about who banned whom.
It is easy to assume things, it is hard to guess what goes on behind 'closed doors'.
Apparently, Mr, Rick is here, and I am sure there is a reason for that.

ON topic:

I would be interested to hear what the requirements are for pawning a domain, and what exactly are the legal 'rights' involved.
