Did you pick that up on a drop? Hard to see any commercial value in selling a biochemical compound. You might want to offer it to the owner of the .net or perhaps sit on it for a while...you never know :)

Luck...

Sometimes the silly names get more responses than good names

It's still a good forum though, not ready to give up on it.

My point was, that most of threads get only few answers, but then again, my thread received 120 visitors in less than 10 minutes (and only 2 replies). That makes you think.. So many people visiting, but only few actually replying. They should invent something like 5 posts minimum a week, or so. It would lighten things up a bit.

Some forums require newbies to reply to a certain number of threads before they are allowed to post themselves.

I think the main problem is that none of us really know how or how much to appraise. Newbies have no idea and are looking for a lead, old hands have seen OTT appraisals, and probably paid for them only to find that the "appraisers" probably know less than those seeking the appraisal!
Look at GDoms, Mottoes.com- $100,000 buy the .us version for $7, it's available.

CellTelephone.com - $110,00 ,I have the .us version- how much?

We are suffering from a lack of actual sales to give us a lead to determine values. Nearly every domain, apart from the top notch are offered at " Make offer" and the majority of those who express an interest are re-sellers! Only when the when potential buyers are from outside the "community' will you start to see the real value of names.
I have no doubt that this will happen but I think there is a direct link to renewed confidence in technolgy stocks and the fading of the "dotcom revolution" in to the past.
The answer, I wish I knew, but it all looked good 2 years ago, and that is not a long time.
Go with the flow, hold the names 'you' think are good, dump the rubbish and hold on to your hats for the new revolution1
