Saw it on the drop list and, as I seem to be always disputing, I thought I'd reg. it.

I know that disputer is not the correct word, but the net seems to use it more often than disputant. Do you think it is better than say disputes, disputing, disputant or similar derivatives? Has it got much value?

What shall I use it for
- a mail service for fighters
- as a centre for all my battles
- an info site for past battles.

How much should I list it for if I decide to sell it?

Oh, and here I thought it was supposed to be ebonics for "this computer" at first.

It's actually listed in my Websters as the correct word derived from dispute.

I think dispute, disputing, disputes, idispute and disputed would probably all be better. Something about the word just doesn't sound right to me.

Doesn't seem to be in the OED. Is there any value in ebonic names (that's a new word to me as well)?

I thought it could be used with sub-domains for something like

PayPal.disputer.com

Ebonic words are basically illiterate black slang that some very misguided people tried to promote into it's own language several years back and were soundly ridiculed. I don't think anyone is trying to push the concept these days.

The problem with it is that spelling of words can change instantly, because it's for people who can't read and right correctly.

A Google search on the term should give you more info if you are curious.

Because I like arguing Doberry. I think I'll keep it for all my moans about adding water to ham, and irradiation and stuff like that.
