Dmoz.org bad for some sites ?

Let me start out to say that for about 8 months ago i was added to Dmoz.org list and i was happy about it for 2 months, then google made a update and took the text from there to be listed on the google.com search, now this i was mad about because normaly it will index it from my news and the rest of the site.

6 months have gone by, and i am still on the list after i have tryed to get it deleted. So i signed up on there forums and made some PMs there to the editors.

Now i am out of Dmoz.org and google is back on my site like before, and i get alot more hist from it, like i use to.

am i the only one that had this problem or ?
