DNF website

When things change, it doesn't bother me as much as it bothers some others.

However, it annoys me when a site is slow to load. The new site takes about 10 - 20% longer to load from screen to screen.

This was after I had already visited the same location before. (So, the site is already loaded into my computer memory from the other visit).

My computer is new and with plenty of memory. And, I was using broadband for this test.

I feel bad for all of the people using older computers and dialup modems. I hope they have a deck of cards while they wait for some sites to load.

It's nice to make it fancier and with more graphics. But, why penalize some of your customers.

I am mentioning this not only for DNF. But, for all of the website creators we have on this forum.

Think about your dialup visitors.

It's just arrived here in the UK!
Personally don't detect any slowing down on my PC - using P4 with Broadband.

It would be nice if we could customize what forums remain visible. Or atleast move the exclusive forums to the bottom.

It is interesting that it is loading faster than it was earlier today.

Maybe, it was that 5 pm (eastern) heavy use time.

I'll let you know if I see it occuring again.
