So if i am none of the above, what to do with the domain?

My dad is Canadian, so i guess i could just register it under his name, but what a hassle for a domain name.

Thanks

I asked cira this very question. I am canadian but was curious simply because it limits the number of buyers. They replied saying they do look at all registerations and transfers, any found to be lacking the above noted criteria will simply have the ownership revoked without compensation. The have a very detailed website www.cira.ca
