Do you find it hard to drop domains that are registered in different extensions?

I own some names...that have zero value to me. Yet i do not want to drop because i own in .com and they are taken in other extensions such as .net, .info .. etc etc

Never drop a .com if other TLDs are registered. Any future development of the other TLDs will increase the traffic to the .com or will make the other TLD owners make you offers for the .com. In a similar manner, you can approach the other TLD owners with an offer to sell :D

If you only have a handful of names that you keep for no other reason than to have then I don't see the harm in that, I do too. Who knows, some might sell one day, but until that day they are safe in my portfolio.

If you have many such names that are pulling from your profits, I you suggest rethinking how important they are to you.

Of course one should analyze their names and drop these that are not delivering. However, domain renewal fees are expenses that count against income at tax time.

Exactly Acro.

I just find it hard to drop some names when registered in other extensions. The renewal fees are not going to kill me, so i can hang on.
