I wonder any of you know one word .com websites come up at first place in google search when you search for the same keyword of the domain BUT the website is nothing to do with the meaning of the keyword.

e.g.

Apple.com comes first for the keyword search for "apple" but the website is nothing to do with the fruit "Apple". etc...

I appreciate your input.

that is not a good example because a one word domain may have more than one meaning or usage, therefore you may get plenty of top results but it may not be the meaning/usage you are seeking.

Yeah the search engines have always given priority over keyword domains, but a longer name with some seo can easily get listed higher than an exact search phrase keyword domain with less or no optimization. Indexing bot sees words and not definitions. Most of the time the ExactSearchPhrase.com is not at the top of the search results.

But I think my exact keywords: Loud Beats, has always showed me on the top!
Or you mean it is onlu in the case of less searched or popular keywords that they'll show up on the top...

How do you know the intent of the user when they did the search for "Apple" ?

Anyway, they rank so well because G loves exact match domains.

I don't know what you mean by that. They are popular because they are at the top of the search results.

popular visitor wise, cuz APPLE is a brand in itself with millions of pageviews every day!!

Yes, Because there is not much (or no) other competition for "loud beats" so it easily ranks high on the search results...but it is a lot harder to get good search results for more popular keywords, this is the main reason why those premium search term .coms sell for such high prices.

"Indexing bot sees words and not definitions." Bot really doesn't give a f**k what the word means or how many meanings it has...but they do use other keywords extracted from the pages to determine more details about the definition of the search terms...

Now we have to learn more about how Bing works...I think it's going to be more popular than google soon.
