This is footage of an electric car race up Pike's Peak this past weekend.

Thank goodness the car (Mitsubishi Evo 8) was outfitted with a roll bar and crash cage.
Both driver and passenger suffered serious but non life threatening injuries.
Why any one would want to race up or down that mountain with no guard rails is beyond me.
