Does link building software work ?

Has anyone any experiance of link building using a software package and does it work ? Any suggestions reccomendations please.

Don't waste your time...unless its for reporting. The LB softwares can never do the actual work, the right away.

Spend your many on just one yahoo directory link. It will benefit more than 1000 other directories and plus there wont be risk. Just be sure your website looks quality and has nothing fishy so that yahoo doesnt deny u the listing......it costs $299 per year and sometimes they dont remove your website when if you dont renew the yearly listing. Google looks at automatic submissions as spam and respects the websites listed with yahoo. Hope this helps you.

linksmanager and linkpartners brought me up to a PR4 site in home business opportunities in a few months in early 2003. Am not sure how they are now. but I was getting alot of organic traffic with different home business keywords

For about the same price as a Yahoo listing the possible 60 articles you could have written would be worth far more than link builder software links and add important long term value, but those links would slowly fade away over time and may be discounted by the SEs anyway.
