Does this approach sound okay for trying to buy a domain being used in a private blog network off an owner I don't know (but have contact details for)

[QUOTE="Biggie, post: 2301594, member: 1195"] Hi I see a flaw in your assumption of value, if it's based on previous sales of domain names with "similar" keywords. as, even though you only want the domain, the content, despite the quality level in your opinion... may have more value to them, for whatever leads or archor that converts, to where they redirect or use that traffic for. and all that, is connected to the domain name/ still, for 1. 2. if and when you contact them about the domain, you can include an initial offer or ask for pricing. though that in itself can increase price, if they had one in mind, prior to your inquiry. but that too depends on other variables which are currently unknown to you. like, whether they need to sell it or whether they have future plans for it. for 5. 6. 7. that's where the differences in "value perspective" will be revealed for both parties, should it go that far. at that point, you can make a deal, try to negotiate if price is too high or walk. as for what email addy to use, as a seller it doesn't matter when the buyer is serious. imo...
