It has VERY strange ovt/w numbers that range from next to nothing to the XXXX mark. Smells like the traffic is or may not have been all unique. Basically someone had to pump the crap out of this name. Just before it sold last year apparently. It felll off soon after the reported sale and magically picked up again 2 months later. I am sure there is a reasonable explination beyond the obvious. That or after you spend $650k you get mighty pissed when traffic goes away lmao

so they flipped it on sedo for about 10% profit (after the fees) after 10 months.

JP, might be true, but also the traffic can rise due to the publicity related to the sale.

Im not saying it is 100% not unique nor am I saying I believe it is.

The timeline is telling.

1. Ovt/w for the start of 2006 is fair to low XXX
2. Ovt/w for April-June sudden multiplies not 10 not 20 maybe 30-60 fold ! and shows ovt/w off 7000-9000 !
3. The domain is then sold.
4. Guess wht happens to ovt/w 66 in Sept and 105 October.
5. Again suddenly ovt/w pics up to 7000 plus in Nov and dec.

The ovt/w number is obviously manipulated and NOT a reflection of a reported sale. The actual traffic this name gets is likely a reflection of the XXX ovt/w number. Why not show traffic at sedo ?

We all know ovt/w numbers are a selling point and a way to measure a name. Hope a sucker comes along with no tools ?

Pretty silly of them to sell it so fast. If you're going to pony up that much cash to buy it in the first place you should either develop or have the money to spend to hold on to it until someone offers a couple million.

I agree , the risk / reward equation to buy it in the first place, demanded a higher payout

Perhaps, somebody got cold feet
