Real money always works best!! Good domain in a sense that it is a term that is heard on daily basis. It has recognition. However, it does not address any specific niche. Therefore hard to develop. And it is a .net, which takes down the value even more.

Not true for all cases. I have regged a few domains that were accidently expired and later dropped from the orginal owner. They later called or e-mailed me wanting to buy back the domain. Conclusion: Even though they are available to reg they are not worhtless. Maybe this one is
