How about a 'Domain Development' forum where members can discuss all aspects of domain development?

I see that as something useful, but I could understand if dan didn't want to extend too far with this sites scope as there are lots of existing sites covering that whole area.

yes I think its a good idea, in particular perhaps a forum focusing on affiliate programs etc. Whilst many sites cover webmasters issues I think the topics/issues for those with multiple domains are quite different.

Oh yes, I agree. 'Domain Development' deserves its own forum here. I am particularly interested in strategies and techniques to make domains more attractive to prospective sponsors and/or buyers.

Much thanks to all of you who have posted and voted thus far in support of adding a "Domain Development" Forum here.

I think 'Domain Development' is broad, yet specific enough of a subject matter to earn Forum status.

It certainly is important enough.

What do you think?

If you are a DNforum member who has not voted yet, I encourage you to please vote now!

Thank You,

i don't think i actually voted, when i posted to this thread earlier.
however, i would like to see an exchange of opinions & ideas of what 'does work' and 'what doesn't work' for others, in regards to various affiliate/reseller programs. The affiliate Biz is something that many website owners have done well with. Adding affiliate 'additional prod. & services' to your site's content can be lucritive... There are some good programs / independant ones.. i find are the best & allow more freedom in 'marketing' even private labeling. I have found that the whole program at LinkShare.com is a big c r o c k crock... NEVER successful with that outfit.. anyone had success there? cJ is better than Linkshare.com. Casino - affiliateins are very lucritive as well. Many casino - affiliate sites are earning $10K - $30+ kay MONTLY.

Affiliate programs would certainly make a good thread topic in a 'Domain Development' Forum, but it certainly wouldn't be the only topic.

For instance, other 'Domain Development' topics worth discussing that come to mind are; creating original content, making/selecting a logo, site type and color selection, traffic tracking, SEO, finding sponsors and buyers, just to name a few.

For those DNforum members reading this that have not voted yet to add a 'Domain Development' Forum, please take a moment and vote now!

Thank You,
