domain name expiration (the domain I want is already expired?)

I can't register the domain I want, but on the whois it says it expired on April 1 of this year.

What might be going on here?

after exp date you have to wait for on hold period and pending delete, i dont no total time but i think its about 2 months after expiration before name drops and becomes available for registration
