Say you hand registered a domain name a year or two ago, and it has now been professionally appraised at a certain amount of money, and you have found a buyer who is willing to pay that amount of money.

Should the seller also add on to the price the amount of money that was spent registering the domain name for how many ever years, the amount of money that was spent having the domain name professionally appraised, and the fee that the escrow company that the buyer wants to use will charge?

For example, should a seller sell a domain name worth $500 for $600 if the seller had spent $100 on things?

Someone will always buy the domain if the price is in reason.

So just keep looking for that seller.

What is a good profit margin to aim for when selling a domain name?
