I bought some .uk domains thinking there would be opportunity. I haven't seen any interest or comments on my marketing attempts or sales. How do they price compared to .com and other TLDs?

I have:
AnteUp.uk
CoinByte.uk
FlatRental.uk
FlickReview.uk
FpsGame.uk
GameQue.uk
Krill.uk
Nape.uk
PracticallyNew.uk
PubWalk.uk
Saiga.uk
Skink.uk
Siamese.uk
TheaterBlues.uk

I think these are pretty good domain names. Are they in demand? Can they be comparable to a .com or .co.uk DN price?

Out of all these domain names, only 2 I can say have value: CoinByte and FlatRental.uk. By searching flat rental UK in google, I get at least 50 different flat rental companies. Try to reach out to all of them and you will be able to sell it. I can't say the same for the rest of your domains.

These are on a different page in the marketing section for sales. Here I want to list my domains and give my justification why I bought them, then hopefully get constructive information that would guide me to making better decisions. I understand that short words and 3 letters or less are great, but beyond the obvious and into different TLDs and 2 word choices, etc...

.COM
2022ballot - midterm elections. I thought there'd be huge 1 year ad income.
ammozip - Ammo is a big thing and in demand. Zip is a high value word.
blinktip - Both blink and tip are high value words.
carsteady - Trying to find something not taken in the auto/car realm.
climatesky - Environmental / Climate is big atm
cloudgoto - Cloud and SaaS, IaaS, whatever is always good.
creditoon - looking for a trendy name that has something to do with credit
envirobench - Environmental / Climate is big atm .. environmental benchmarking
gameenemy - Gaming is a huge market. Finding a marketable name for a gaming site or game.
gamenemy - Took the other option so they have to buy it from me regardless.
gapcrypto - Crypto is huge and this is easy to say and memorize
holisticbuy - Healthcare and holistic medicine is a billion dollar industry
loanhip - Anything easy to remember using loan
lunchub - Everything is a hub. This was available and trendy sounding.
mapdebt - Credit, debt, loan industry is big. mapping out debt for consolidation or reduction
qty0 - 4 characters and available
qty5 -
qty7 -
qty9 -
taxtunnel - Taxes are a huge industry. trendy name.
travelvaticancity - 5 million visitors to Vatican City per year.
voterzip - Voting, reviewing, plus zip is a high value word.
cryptosphinx - Getting available words in the crypto realm
phantomdefense - is a website I used when I was making kydex gun holsters.
climateprobe - Environmental / Climate is big atm

.Travel
JohorBahru - 7.2 million visitors per year. one of the most traveled cities.
hcmc - 8.2 million visitors per year. one of the most traveled cities.

.UK
anteup - Online gambling site
coinbyte - Crypto site
flatrental - Renting flats, obviously
flickreview - Movie review. Called flicks in UK.
fpsgame - First Person Shooter Game. Gaming
gameque - Easy to say Gaming site
krill - Short 1 word - krill is used for krill oil for the Omega-3 fatty acids. Healthcare industry
nape - short 1 word, was available so I took it.
practicallynew - sell used goods.
pubwalk - like a pub crawl.
saiga - 1 word
siamese - 1 word can be used for cats or other marketable thing
skink - 1 short word, could be brandable
theaterblues - I read that in the UK this is what they call scrubs. Nurses buy scrubs.

So, that is the justification behind my purchasing. Am I being too thoughtful? Thinking too hard, not hard enough?

I also used the .Travel because I wanted travel domains and these were gobbled up. Thought it would be a good idea to get a couple.
I got the .uk ones trying to get high density, area specific TLD with some available short 1 word DNs and reach another market.

Again, looking forward to some insight to what I have vs how I should view the market. I also would like the good, the bad, and the ugly about your thoughts on my small portfolio. I am quite new to this.

TIA

Hi

since this is about your domains, specifically, then it is not really a general discussion.

still, we'll let it slide for now.

as far i can see, your .com list is mostly brandable names.
even though they may have some viable keywords, none are exact match for a specific product or service.

the rest are not liquid by any means, so basically you have a group of long term holds, that may take a long time to sell, if ever.

Good Luck!

imo...

So, the people in the UK would rather type .co.uk than just .uk? I can understand.com vs .net, but that doesn't make sense.

Yes that's my understanding.

It's all about what was used first.
